New Erb Managing Director is Sustainability Education Innovator

 

 
After six years as Managing Director of the Erb Institute, Drew Horning has accepted a new position at the Graham Environmental Sustainability Institute. A 2001 graduate of Erb’s predecessor program, CEMP, Horning helped guide the institute through a period of substantial growth and was instrumental in much of its success.
New managing director Richard Bunch brings more than 20 years of experience in sustainable business education to The Erb Institute, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year and is poised to continue on a trajectory of significant growth.
 

Erb MBA/MS Program Sees Record Enrollment

 
 
The Erb Institute announced that the 2007-2008 MBA/MS program grew 30 percent over 2006-2007, leading administrators to expect the program's graduating class of 2010 to double the 2005 count. "The program has been growing steadily over the years, especially since 2004, but still this was such a big jump that it took me by surprise," said Erb Institute director, Tom Lyon.
 

McGraw Foundation Gift Helps Meet Erb Family Challenge

 
 
Thanks to a major new gift from the Max McGraw Foundation, The Erb Institute has matched the Erb family’s $10 Million gift challenge more than six years ahead of schedule. Beginning with the establishment of the Max McGraw Professorship for Global Sustainable Enterprise in 1992, the McGraw Foundation continues to be a major Erb Institute benefactor.

Three-peat: Ross Net Impact Wins Top Honors Again For the third year in a row, Ross Net Impact has won Chapter-of-the-Year honors. Net Impact, an international organization of more than 10,000 students and professionals committed to serving the social and environmental good through business, announced the award during its annual North America Conference at Wharton November 13 and 15.
