Instructor Positions
(GSIs)
GSIs
are competitive
positions that can
be found at Schools
throughout the
University
(excluding the
Business School).
These positions
often pay full
tuition during the
semester of
employment. If you
are offered a
position, be sure to
ask the sponsoring
department if the
position covers
tuition. Once you
are admitted to both
Schools, contact the
Office of Academic
Programs at SNRE to
find the most recent
listing of GSI positions
available. If you
have a specific
interest or level of
expertise in an
area, find the
faculty who are
working on research
in that area and
contact them. Based
on your past
experience, you may
also want to
consider teaching or
doing research in an
area that may not be
related to the Erb
Institute. Note: We
do not recommend
doing a GSI
when you are
enrolled in the core
curriculum at the
Business School.
