Admissions
Admission to
MBA/MS Program is
extremely selective,
as it requires
admittance to
graduate programs at
both The Ross School
of Business (Ross)
and The School of
Natural Resources &
Environment (SNRE).
Thus, candidates
must go through a
dual selection
process, applying to
each school
separately. If you
are admitted to both
schools, you then
become part of the
MBA/MS Program.
IMPORTANT!!
Contact the Erb
Institute office
with your name and
expected deadline
dates so we can
track your
application and have
MBA/MS Program staff
and students assist
you in navigating
the application
process.
Steps for MBA/MS
Program Admission
- Sign up for
and take GMAT
exam (SNRE will
accept GMAT
scores for
MBA/MS Program
applicants -
look for UM-SNRE
as GMAT score
recipient when
taking exam).
SNRE GMAT code
is SN1-J6-40.
- Applications for the Ross School of Business and SNRE are available on line.
- Complete
both Ross and SNRE
applications. On the Rackham application under "Applying to more than one Program of Study," check "yes" to the question, "Are you applying to a dual degree program with a non-Rackham school or college? Indicate "Business Admin (MBA" from the drop down list. Please check the SNRE box on Form 1 under 'Dual Degree Program Applicants' on the Ross application.
- Confirm with
MBA/MS Program
office once both
applications are
in.
In your
essays to both
schools, please
clearly inform
the selection
committee that
you are applying
to the MBA/MS
Program of the
Erb Institute,
and explain to
the respective
schools why a
degree from
their program is
important to
you. The schools
are interested
in hearing why
their degree
contribution is
vital to this
program and your
career goals.
Please
Note: If you
are already
in Ross or
SNRE and
want to be
part of the
MBA/MS
Program,
you'll need
to go
through the
admissions
process for
the other
school.
You must apply in your first year of graduate school. Please be
sure to
inform the
Erb
Institute
office of
your
application.

through the
application
process.
Please
make every
attempt to
collect all
required
application
materials
and send
them to the
school
together in
one
envelope.
Transcripts
and letters
of
recommendation

their

mailing
envelopes as
proof of
their
